Feeling Droopy?

There will be times when, like some flowers immediately after rain, we feel droopy and aren’t as perky as we’d like to be. This is normal. It’s the ebb and flow of our natural emotions. I’ve written elsewhere that our emotions are actually launched by our thoughts, not the other way round. Whether you agree or not, we can all certainly decide how to change the course of our thoughts and hence, the gamut of our emotions.

Recognize that there will be times when others around us will be upbeat when we are not. And vice versa, of course. Whatever the situation, take control because you both can and should. Emotions will run their course. Thoughts and beliefs need to be steadfastly anchored, steadfastly on course.
